C.A.P.S. ( Club Action Planning Scheme )

Chesterfield Netball Club currently hold bronze C.A.P.S. accreditation via England Netball. This award includes best practice for the development of players, umpires and coaches at every level. It is also directly linked to Sport England's Clubmark which ensures a safe environment for all players, as all officials have to be C.R.B. (Criminal Records Bureau) checked and attend Child Protection Courses.

Currently we are working towards the Silver Award.

P.E.S.S.C.L. ( PE and School Sport and Club Links )

P.E.S.S.C.L. is a government driven plan that aims to deliver participation and enjoyment of sport to all children of all abilities and all backgrounds across the whole spectrum of the community.

Our link is with the P.E. department at Chesterfield Community Sports College who actively promote our club to all schoolgirls who want to progress to Club sessions whether it be playing or volunteering. Together the school and club encourage good practice of L.T.A.D. which is the Long Term Athlete Development of all players.

Training nights

Our training nights are every Monday for Over 14's and Seniors and every Tuesday for U11's - U14's, with a few exceptions, from September to April at Chesterfield Community Sports College, Crosby, Merseyside, L23 9YB. During these training periods we practice all aspects of the game, focusing on one or two specific areas during a particular session.

These training sessions are our bedrock of development. It is from these sessions that strengths and weaknesses can be identified. Opportunities for improvement and development can be highlighted making the Chesterfield Community Netball Club stronger, the teams within the club more effective, and those in the teams and in other disciplines of Netball to grow both in the sport, and as individuals.

For further information concerning our training schedules please visit "Coaching Schedule" under "About us"
